Giovanni Politi stands for Italian cuisine with character, elegance, and a refined sense for special moments of enjoyment. A trained chef and member of the Federazione Italiana Cuochi (FIC), his culinary journey led him through formative stations such as Iris Berben's "Cafe Roma" in Munich, "Arte by Carlo" in Ludwigsburg, and the renowned "Da Gabriele" in Kitzbühel.
He had already built a successful reputation in Stuttgart with his restaurant "Da Giovanni". Since 2010 he has shaped Italian gastronomy in the region with L'Osteria in Aalen, and since 2019 Sotto Sopra in Heidenheim has also carried his signature: authentically Italian, high-quality, and attentive to every detail.
With Luce D’Arte, Giovanni Politi opens a new chapter in 2026 – as host, chef, and visionary who brings together tradition, experience, and modern Italian elegance into a distinctive restaurant experience.
